November 26, 2018, Orrville, Ohio — PackShip USA, a custom packaging, final mile delivery, logistics, warehousing and retail company headquartered in Orrville, Ohio, is celebrating its 20th year in business.

Founded by Mike and Diane Jarrett, PackShip USA was born from Mike’s desire to use the skills and experience he acquired throughout his career in the logistics industry. “Diane and I are honored to have grown this company from the ground up over the last 20 years. And to do so near the same community we were fortunate to grow up in as well makes us all the more proud,” Mike Jarrett, President of PackShip USA, said.

PackShip USA was the first startup company in the Jarrett family of companies, which now includes Jarrett Logistics Systems, a third party logistics provider, and Jarrett Fleet Services, a provider of truck fleet maintenance and repair, as well as additional fitness and restaurant businesses.

Since its founding, PackShip USA has grown to be a national market leader in managing the supply chain of wood furniture produced in the US, with locations in Orrville, Ohio; Goshen, Indiana; Leola, Pennsylvania and High Point, North Carolina servicing hundreds of furniture manufacturers and countless end customers. “We’ve strategically grown our presence over the last 20 years to include distribution centers that serve our growing markets of Amish custom furniture makers and national furniture manufacturers for their shipping and final mile delivery needs, while still delivering on our core packing, shipping and logistics capabilities as well,” Diane Jarrett, Co-Owner of PackShip USA, said.

And delivering on those core capabilities is the company’s staff of 60 employees who are key to its success — always seeking creative and innovative ways to serve as partners to their customers and displaying commitment to a job well done.

With a passion for perfection and a customer-centric culture that has guided their success over the past 20 years, PackShip USA has also grown its vertical business lines to meet the demands of its customers and the market. The company’s capabilities now include custom packing and shipping solutions, final mile delivery, logistics, warehousing and retail shipping.

“Each division was added over time in response to our customers’ needs. It’s a great example of how our company has been able to adapt and grow alongside our customers as the market changes,” Mike added.

While the business has expanded its reach far beyond Orrville, it’s easy to see the Jarretts’ dedication to the community just by driving down Main Street in Orrville. PackShip USA’s offices, retail storefront and warehouse line the street, and are just part of the company’s deep and genuine commitment to the community they call home.

“We appreciate the role we are able to play in the local economy and are grateful for the support of our customers and the community,” Diane added. PackShip USA maintains an active role as a supporter of local community organizations, including Heartland Education Community, OrrViews and the Salvation Army, as well as area Chambers of Commerce and the Hardwood Furniture Guild. Mike also currently serves on the Wayne County Community Foundation Board, the Farmers National Bank Advisory Board and the University of Mount Union Board, while Diane currently serves on the Austin Bailey Health and Wellness Foundation Board, Wayne County Children Services Board and the Aultman Orrville Hospital Board of Directors.

“Mike and I truly believe that as local business leaders, the needs of the community are just as important as the needs of our businesses. That’s why we’ve invested heavily in the Orrville community to build up Main Street and promote economic development beyond PackShip USA, and why we continue to invest heavily as thought leaders, participating on key Boards in our region,” Diane said.
